Nothing can replace natural teeth. That’s why we always strive to maintain and save teeth whenever possible. The removal of a tooth will only be considered when the tooth is unsalvageable, meaning that other treatments are insufficient to save it.
We will always discuss options to replace missing teeth before proceeding with extraction, ensuring that you are fully informed about the entire process.
Dental extractions need not be painful. Once the local anaesthetic has been administered, the area will become numb. We will not proceed if you experience pain and will always ensure you receive sufficient anaesthesia to make the procedure as comfortable as possible.
Occasionally, teeth may be impacted or stuck behind other teeth, often seen with wisdom teeth. While this complicates matters, we have the diagnostic tools, surgical equipment, skill, and expertise to ensure a positive experience for you.
Following tooth extraction, we will provide you with all necessary post-operative instructions and advice to help you care for the area properly.
