What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is one of several types of discreet or invisible orthodontic aligners used to straighten your teeth and improve your appearance. Previously, metal braces and wires were the primary solution for misaligned teeth.
These practically invisible braces are considered the ideal replacement for traditional metal braces, which were not detachable and remained fixed in the mouth. In contrast, these contemporary braces are easily removable and reusable. This allows you to focus on maintaining your oral health and enjoying a normal diet during your treatment.
The Invisalign treatment utilizes invisible braces made of thermoplastic material. These transparent braces resemble the trays used for tooth whitening. A series of custom-made transparent braces are worn sequentially to gradually shift teeth into their proper alignment.
